Pusser's 'Gunpowder Proof' Spiced is a particularly full-bodied spiced rum, made with rum matured in charred oak bourbon barrels and combined with a selection of tasty ingredients, including banana, cinnamon, chocolate, ginger and vanilla.

Like its Black Label expression, this rum has been bottled up at 54.5% ABV, making for a robust flavour profile that will certainly stand out in mixed drinks and cocktails. Impressive stuff indeed!

 

Tasting Note

Big helpings of cinnamon and ginger up front, swiftly mellowed by layers of chocolate-coated banana and vanilla ice-cream with caramel sauce. Cask char richness develops later on, plus hints of pecan, walnut and ripe fruit.
